Welcome to my new email newsletter, Coaching Flywheel. 

Here’s a brief intro — why I’m writing, what I can bring, and what you can expect as you come on this journey with me. 

Every week, I usually sit down for an uninterrupted 45 minutes and stream my reflections, learnings and plans on paper. This “Thinking Time” practice pushes me to unearth new ideas, insights and inspiration.

Through my interactions with thousands of coaches, I continue to gather insights, refine ideas and test new approaches. I continue to build my bank of what’s working and form my playbooks on how anyone could take what they know, apply themselves in the art of promotion, and grow their impact and income.

I’ve been deep in the trenches building high-impact, service-first businesses.

Building fully remote teams, putting the customer first, delivering high-value products and leading with care are the pillars by which I design, build and scale my projects.  

And, now, I’m here to share. 

This is my first newsletter in years. I’ve loved writing, and I can’t wait to get back to it, bringing you my weekly highlights, learnings and experiments. 

You can expect fresh thinking, new perspectives and insightful approaches to growing your coaching craft and business. 

I’ll help you unlock a new way of looking at your work, and show you how to reach more people, grow your coaching business and earn more money. This will be high-value with actionable, practical ideas. 

With the name Coaching Flywheel, I hope to present two things:

Firstly, coaching is most powerful when we help our clients stack small, daily, repeatable wins, which built upon time, create magical momentum and outstanding outcomes. Anyone who has received coaching has felt this.

And, second, the true path to building a sustainable, enjoyable, meaningful and profitable business — something we spend so many hours pouring our heart into — requires building a flywheel. We must take those small actions everyday, stay focused on the metrics that matter the most, keep honing our craft, and so on. This builds momentum. The flywheel spins. The effect is magnetic. 

I’m Kavit Haria. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been building online education businesses. I’ve created products, sold courses, written ebooks, launched funnels, traveled around the world teaching workshops in New York, Sydney and London, and spoken to large audiences about how to build scalable, profitable online businesses that put customers first. 

Early on, through this process, I learned quickly that I absolutely loved spending time with teachers, coaches, mentors, guides and experts. People that have specific skills that would help elevate others. I realized that by blending my passion for marketing education online, I could help them reach millions of people with their work. Perhaps, in our own way, the world could be a better place. 

So from 2013 to 2017, I offered a 12 month program called Automated Business System. I signed on 60 clients, assembled a top-class team, and went to work helping these experts and coaches turn what they know into leveraged ecosystems online. We masterminded, wrote, filmed, edited, and published brand new courses online every month, and we paired them with our team to show them how to market online. We created the roadmap, and many of them were wildly successful. In 2018, I published this entire process in my book, Don’t Sleep On It: Turn Your Expertise into an Online Business.

Doing this work continued to deepen my understanding of business online and little did I know that my best work was truly around the corner...

In late 2017, I met with Jay Shetty.  His work truly resonated with me. I could see the impact he was so keen to make. We became business partners. 6 years on, and I truly feel like we’ve only just begun. 

In 2018, we created Genius, our global community of coaching. 10,000+ members get to experience a live workshop and meditation with Jay himself every week, along with participating in a community of like-minded, supportive individuals. And in 2020, we launched the Jay Shetty Certification School. Thousands of people across 100 countries enrol to study and certify every year.  

I’ve created a team of 50 people, working remotely across 8 countries, bringing all of this to life. Success is rarely a straight line. The hardwork, passion and commitment to the mission brings all of these people together — and the lessons, stories, learnings are many. I can’t wait to share them on this journey.
